On Fiyah

This is really becoming quite surreal for me.

Yes, that means I'm up 35 buyins for the month of November over a mere 16k hands. Today was a 10 buyin grind...okay, heater. I got AA all in pre vs KK and held for probably the 4th session in a row. I also had a good suckout w A7dd > 66 on a K63dd board. Beyond that it was just playing what I think was solid poker. I played this one kind of weird, but not as weird as the 30/5 villain.

I was concerned on the flop that he might be on a monster, hence the c/c, when he checked back the turn, his range suddenly became a lot more friendly to me. When he shoved the river I actually snapcalled without thinking too much. His line made no sense so I figured he was on air or.. well, honestly I couldn't put much of anything in his range. Ya gotta lol at cold calling a 3b w A3s...

Got into an interesting spot w AA too. Thankfully, I'm a station.

I went with the common thinking that "nobody raises a made flush on the turn", which obviously isn't entirely true but does carry some weight. After the river totally ragged I decided that he had enough things like AQ, KQ, busted straights, AhX hands, etc that calling was okay. I laughed when he showed me that hand.

Comments on both hands are welcome.

So with all this, I've now shattered 3k, 4k, and 5k, all in one month and now sit at just under $5700. Damn. If I would just stop mucking around in tournaments and running like crap (see below) I'd probably be over 6k now.

And that's in a 75$ MTT. Well played dork.

Oh well :)

Nice graph, sir. I hope it continues to go well.

If you looking for sympathy, you shouldn't have just called his raise on the flop, but push all in there.
