My cash game needs work

(For shits and giggles I'm gonna join the race for the 10K challenge. Cashed out from 360 to 50 a couple weeks ago, so we'll start from there to be fair)


Cash games still have me a bit out of my element I think. Sometimes I make great reads, sometimes I make piss-poor reads.

But then I end up in a hand like this... I've been at the table ~30 minutes. Villain has been super-aggressive post flop and has shown down some mediocre hands like Ax, QJ, etc.

I have a nasty habbit of trying to play maniacs the one time they pick up a real hand. Ugh.

It's frustrating to end a night down, especially when I was card laden at two of my tables, but every time I had a huge hand, nobody would play. And these tables were going nuts! Chips were flying everywhere! But then I get AA UTG, I make my standard raise, it folds all the way. Ugh. KK two hands later and I'm in the SB, it folds around to the button who limps, I make standard raise, BB/OTB both fold quickly. Ugh. TT in MP on my other table. Same raise, all fold. AK three times between the two tables, twice it folded around, once I blanked the flop but c-bet and took it for a mediocre gain.

Ugh. Oh well. CP tourny and probably some more 180 SNG's tomorrow. Cheers.
